Bought some new CDs today. Listening in progress.
Jason mentioned yesterday how much he missed San Francisco music, specifically the incredible sets Phil B. conjures up. Until about a year ago, I didn't realize there were distinct regional differences in club music. (Oy! Not another "DJ saved my life" moment, I hear you thinking.)
We miss the San Francisco trance sound of DJs like Phil B., Neil Lewis, Matt Consola. The DJ style here is much different: more house, a little more east coast in mixes, lotsa WhitneyCherMadonna. I suppose only have two or three DJs who do the Phoenix club scene limits your options.
