I love the Y. I'm so glad we joined. It may not be as new, or as nice as some of the other gyms in town. There isn't a juice bar in the lobby. You can't buy protein shake mix in the health food store.
But the people are nice. They don't try to sell you anything, or get you locked into a three year contract. (For a gym? Why would I need a contract to go to a gym?) The folks there smile when you come in and say goodnight when you leave. If you have a problem, they try to fix it. Good customer service is worth a lot.
