After prompting in a Wired article on "retrocomputing," I searched for a Commodore 64 emulator, just for fun. I'm in the process of downloading it.

Since the VIC20 was my first computer, this should be interesting! The emulator is supposed to handle the C-128 as well. More to come.

Spent the morning digging through Bradlands. Good stuff Maynard. Lots of fun musing on the St. Louis scene. His circuit stories hit close to home.

Once more, I'm a little dithered after dancing last night. I'm ready to slide into the rest of my weekend....calmly.

I think it's time to go home. I still feel like I was run over by a truck last night. And, just think, I get to do it again tonight.

Oh god. What have I done?

Just what we need. Of course, Edison thought we'd record telephone conversations with his phonograph too. (Thanks to Steven Johnson & tomalek)

Not surprising. What I want to know is why the damn AOL icon keeps moving around on my system tray. And why AOL feels that prompting me to sign on to AOL every time I connect to my ISP is a good thing. Arrgh.

Arrgh. I'm a little slow today. Too much vodka last night.

There is something amazingly self referential about this whole web-log thing. As with most things on the web, I feel a little out of it. Kinda like a party that's been going on for awhile. Lots of history.

I must not have been paying attention, because this just snuck up on me. Wonder Boys, a movie based on one of my favorite books. Whoohoo! Although I'm not sure I'm so keen on Michael Douglas' look for the film. Hmmm.
