Painting the spare bedroom and bath this weekend, in preparation for Grammy's visit next weekend. Jason is spending next weekend in San Francisco, in lieu of entertaining my grandmaman, lucky boy. I'll be spending the weekend hoping that I managed to conceal all the porn.

Despite the turmoil of the last month, things have been remarkably positive for me lately. Work has been challenging and fun, and it appears that I've secured a bit of a promotion. Our CEO is panicking a bit because of the drop-off in business over the past month. Yet in spite of that, we have several large new clients, and our new system (the development of which I managed over the last 2+ years) is performing better than I anticipated. In the next week or two, I'll be moving into a senior manager role, responsible for all our ongoing development. Very exciting.

My maps of the London Underground arrived Friday par avion from Brian. Now to find frames for the damn things.

Phoenix is once again a pleasant place to live. The heat broke abruptly in the last week or so. Now we can focus on getting the damn lawn to turn green again.
