So yesterday, on impulse, I walked into a store I didn't realize was open. Thirty seconds after opening the door, I started grinning uncontrollably. I left the store fairly confident that my next computer purchase would be from Apple. The new Apple store at the Biltmore lives up to its hype. G4 with big-ass Cinema Display, plus iPod, please.

(It is my opinion that the dot-coms went bust because everyone was too busy twiddling with their Aeron chairs. Now I understand. New whizzy black plastic chair-like gadget at chez Logan..... Yay.)

Suffice to say that things have been rather stressful lately. Work, life, you know.

We're progressing slowly down the track toward getting a pool. The final sketches are done, the contract inked, but not signed, the bank shuffling our financial cards to see if we're sufficiently creditworthy to pay for a big hole in our back yard filled with cool, refreshing water.

Tickets have been purchased to see the Pet Shop Boys in SF in June. Hooray.
