Monsoon. Thunderstorms. Wildfires. Impending power failures. Dirty swimming pools. Flakey cars.

Summer in the city. No, not the City, just Phoenix. Jason jets off to Palm Springs this weekend. ("Jets" in his new car, not flying, if you care to know.)

Plans to be in San Diego for the end-of-month faggotry are cancelled for lack of funds and the need to be sober enough to deal with work whilst my boss visits her family. Alas. Work trip to Toronto, however, may be in the cards.

Lack of funds did not preclude the aquisition of a new Airport Express for playing of disco tunes to the house stereo. DSL is being moved from Qwest to AT&T, which I'm sure will result in disconnected broadband shortly. Once that messiness is over, we should have a brand-new network configured, without (much) fear of virii and other PC-flavored invaders.

So where are you going this summer?
